SeaWorld WIld Days

Everyone loves penguins, right? If you have a special interest in these funny, interesting and entertaining creatures, then don’t miss the last weekend of Wild Days at SeaWorld. This weekend, January 25 & 26, animal expert, Julie Scardina, will tell stories of her trips around the globe in efforts of conservation and for her love of animals. Don’t miss this up-close animal event you can only experience at an Orlando theme park.

SeaWorld penguinsThe best way to experience Wild Days is with a 2014 SeaWorld Fun Card. If you buy one, you can get one FREE at the gate with any recyclable can or bottle from any Coca-Cola beverage product. Talk about an incentive to recycle! Once you have your Fun Card, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to this weekend’s Wild Days event as well as special benefits during other events throughout the entire year.

While you’re at SeaWorld, make sure to stop by the Shamu Up Close experience. Once the folks at SeaWorld bring back the regular killer whale show, you’ll not have the chance for this type of experience. Read more about this limited time show on this earlier post…

Now that you have a yearly pass (if you don’t have one, get one or a cheap one-day theme park ticket), head back to SeaWorld on the weekends for the Bands, Brew & BBQ event. This weekend festival begins February 1 and runs through March 9, 2014. Concerts begin at 4pm, but you can purchase a Brew Sampler ticket ($24) and arrive as early as 11:30 a.m. There has been some controversy of bands cancelling, however, I’m sure SeaWorld will fill the void with great music. The best way to see what bands will be playing is to visit SeaWorld’s Facebook page. Besides, the event isn’t just about bands. Personally, I think going to this event for the Brew & BBQ is well worth it. Where else can you see cute fuzzy arctic creatures, enjoy a cold one & feast on good southern food?

SeaWorld is a great theme park to attend, and the next few weekends they have a lot to offer. If you’re visiting the Central Florida area and have tickets for this Orlando theme park, enjoy your time there. Also, make sure you save a night for Capone’s Dinner & Show. It is the best value of all the Orlando dinner shows. Everyone in your family can get into the era of prohibition. With over 15 beverages to choose from (included in the price of the ticket), everyone in your gang will find something to enjoy…from brews to Shirley Temples! And if you think the penguins at SeaWorld are funny, you’ll love the “birds” at Capone’s! Hysterical characters all around.
