September and October are quite possibly the best months of the year to visit Florida. With school in session, the tourist season seems to slow down a bit. The weather can be drier and not as hot. The lines at the attractions are not as long. If you are a Florida resident, NOW is the time to go to the theme parks! The weekends aren’t too bad, but if you can get away during the week – even better!

Now through the rest of the year, Florida residents can take advantage of a nice discount at Aquatica and Discovery Cove. The weather is still warm enough to enjoy a cool dip in the water so now is the best time for Florida residents to enjoy these parks. If you haven’t been lately – GO! Regular price has been discounted from $47.99 to $29.99 at Aquatica and a dolphin encounter at Discovery Cove is $199 which includes an unlimited pass to SeaWorld through the end of January 2012.

The water parks aren’t the only attractions to offer Florida resident deals. Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida has discounts available for their zip-line course (must call 407-957-9794, ext. 1). Disney discounts their one-day tickets for Florida residents by about $4, however, their 3-day play pass is the best offer. Universal discounts their one day pass by about $13. The list goes on and on. Nearly every Orlando area attraction offers a Florida resident discount. Use your internet browser and type the name of the park in the search bar as well as the words “Florida resident discount” and you’ll find a link for the discount information!

Capone’s Dinner & Show is no exception. We offer a year-round Florida resident deal. There are no black-out dates either! Show us your Florida ID and you’ll receive a special gift from Al and the gang.

Get out and enjoy your own “back yard” and see what the tourists get to experience – for less! Being a Florida resident certainly does have its perks. Enjoy!
